Heavy-duty, weather-resistant external louvers built to withstand extreme monsoon dampness and solar UV.
Architectural exterior facades require materials that can withstand the harshest climatic extremes. APD External Louvers are co-extruded using advanced UV-stabilized polymer-wood formulations. Featuring a protective outer shielding, they are engineered to resist fading, thermal expansion, cracking, and torrential rains without deteriorating. Perfect for exterior ceilings, canopy soffits, balcony claddings, and building envelope details.
Observe the exact steps outlined in our technical specification documents to guarantee structural stability, perfect alignments, and complete moisture protection.
Install a rigid GI metal or aluminum framing grid on the exterior masonry wall, spaced at 300mm center-to-center.
Fix the starting aluminum channel at the base of the frame.
Position the louver panel and secure it to the metallic framework using stainless steel clips screwed into the grid. Never nail directly through the face of the panel.
Slide the subsequent panel groove into the interlocking joint to conceal the metal clips completely.

APD External Louvers are fortified with an advanced co-extruded polymer shield containing UV-inhibiting compounds. While natural timber decays and loses color rapidly, our exterior louvers retain their rich architectural tone for decades with minimal shifts.
They perform flawlessly. The co-extruded shield contains zero open wood pores, making them completely impervious to water penetration, swelling, mold, and rot during prolonged monsoon seasons.
Yes. Due to high external wind loads and thermal movements, outdoor claddings must be fixed onto a rigid steel (GI) or aluminum framing grid, never directly onto masonry.
Routine cleaning only requires a light water wash or pressure washing using mild household detergent to remove accumulated atmospheric dust.
Yes. Since they are co-extruded polymer shielded composites, they do not corrode, flake, or swell in high-salinity marine environments like coastal Mumbai or Chennai.
